SENIOR SIDELIGHTS

Austintown Senior Center, 100 Westchester Drive, has planned the following: Monday, open exercise at 9 a.m., monthly membership meeting, blood pressure checks and painting class ($5) at 9:30, bingo and Ask the Social Worker at 10 and question-and-answer with Congressman Bill John at 10:30; Tuesday, “Vets Helping Vets,” line dancing and bingo at 10 a.m., bridge club at 10:30 and kitchen crew at noon; Wednesday, open exercise at 9 a.m., bingo at 10 and $3 pizza party at noon followed by a movie, “The Glenn Miller Story,” at 1 p.m.; Thursday, yoga ($2) and open exercise at 9:30 a.m., bingo at 10, beginning crochet at 11:30 and Austintown Senior Players, lunch ($3) and grocery bingo at noon; Friday, trip to Rogers and Wii practice at 9 a.m., bingo and discussion group at 10, Wii bowling practice at 11:30 and beginner computer at noon; and Saturday Sheriff’s Senior Fair, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Emmanuel Community Church.
