Baby Bargain Boutique Sept. 22

Boardman Park’s annual Baby Bargain Boutique is set for Sept. 22, and the park will take reservations for boutique sellers beginning Aug. 22.

Reservations can be made at the park office from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Payment will be accepted by cash or check. The cost for Boardman residents is $20 for an inside table and $15 for an outside location. Non-residents are asked to pay $25 for an inside table and $20 for an outside location. All outside sellers must bring their own table and may bring a pop-up tent.

Free school supplies at Mill Creek center

The Precious Ones Family Resource Center is sponsoring its second annual Family Resource Fair from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday in the gymnasium of Mill Creek Community Center, 496 Glenwood Ave.

Organizations will share details of how they can help local families. Prizes and food will be available. There will be free school supplies for every child who attends, and gifts will be given to the first 25 parents who register at the door. UMC’s Financial Peace classes set

Church Hill United Methodist Church, 189 Churchill-Hubbard Road, will host Financial Peace University classes beginning Sept. 18. Sessions, which will be for nine weeks, are scheduled from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Membership fee for materials is $89 plus $6 for shipping, for a total of $95. Dave Ramsey teaches the Bible-based curriculum.

Program teaches importance of farms

MERCER, PA.

Children 4 to 6 are invited to register for the Mercer County Conservation District’s “Down on the Farm” pre-school program.

The program is at Munnell Run Farm, state Route 58 W., Mercer, from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday.

Children will learn about the importance of farms and the plants and animals found on them.

They will make ice cream and go for a tractor ride.
