Alyson Finamore, Kyle Chepla plan Sept. 8 wedding

Alyson Marie Finamore of Cleveland and Kyle James Chepla of Pepper Pike are engaged to be married, their parents announce. The bride-elect is the daughter of Archie and Angela Finamore of Struthers, and the prospective groom is the son of Philip and Colleen Dawson of Pepper Pike, and Dr. William and Sally Chepla of Wilmington, N.C.

An open wedding ceremony will take place at 2 p.m. Sept. 8 at St. Stephen Church in Cleveland. Invitations will be extended for an evening reception at The Union Club in Cleveland.

The bride-to-be earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Youngstown State University and a master’s degree in anesthesiology from Case Western Reserve University. She works as an anesthesiologist assistant at Metro Health Medical Center in Cleveland.

The future groom earned a bachelor’s degree in microbiology from Colgate University and a medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He is chief resident in plastic surgery at University Hospitals in Cleveland.
