Lists of vacation Bible schools open to the public will run on the Religion page. Please include the following information: the complete name of the church; address with city or township; time, date and location of sessions; program theme; ages or grades; and whether it’s free or there is a fee. Information should be submitted two weeks before the school’s opening or its registration deadline. What: “Fishin’ on a Mission with Jesus” is the theme.

When: 5:30 to 8 p.m. Aug. 13-17.

Where: E.B. Family Life Center, 7 S. Garland Ave., Youngstown.

Details: The free program includes worship, discipleship, nutritional meals, crafts and recreation. Classes for 4- to 17-year-olds; there also will be a class for adults. Registration is available online at www.embcytown.org or at the event.

Who: Wedgewood Park Evangelical Church.

What: “Adventures on Promise Island VBS, Where Kids Discover God’s Lifesaving Love” is the theme.

When: 5:45 to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Where: Church, 1944 S. Meridian Road, Youngstown.

Details: The free program is for children 4 years old to sixth grade.
