A Kent State University student accused of posting on Twitter that he would be “shooting up” the Ohio campus no longer is facing a felony charge.

Prosecutors say a grand jury refused to indict the student on a felony charge of inducing panic. Instead, he now faces a lesser charge of telecommunications harassment.

Nineteen-year-old William Koberna was in court Friday for a preliminary hearing. He was arrested nearly a week ago near Cleveland after the university contacted police about the tweet.
