The Rev. John Wigle officiated at the May 5 wedding of Gina Dowell and Brad Palmer, both of Falls Church, Va., at the DeYor Center, where a reception also took place.

Parents of the bride are Joyce and Richard Dowell of Boardman. The groom is a son of Denise and Clay Mingo and Stan Palmer, all of Hague, Va.

The bride wore a vintage ivory satin fit-and-flare gown detailed with a sweetheart neckline and asymmetrical pleated bodice and a silk illusion fingertip veil trimmed in rhinestones.

Matron of honor for her sister was Nicole Sahli. Bridesmaids were Beth Dowell, the bride’s sister-in-law; Heather Mingo, the groom’s sister; Jessica DiTommaso, the bride’s cousin; and Julie Lazzara, Gina Shorthouse, Katie Isaac and Julie Sardich. They wore pewter dresses.

Flower girls were Kate, Madeline, Lia and Noelle Sahi, the bride’s nieces, and Brie McCloskey, the groom’s niece.

Arthur Budich performed the duties of best man. Groomsmen were Dan and Ryan Palmer and Max Mingo, the groom’s brothers; Michael Dowell, the bride’s brother; Garett Palmer, the groom’s cousin; and Michael Swansburg, James Carson, Adam Suritz, Paul Vutiprichar and Scott Holden. The bride’s nephew, Anthony Dowell, was ring bearer.

Mrs. Palmer graduated from John Carroll University and Ohio University with a master’s degree in higher education administration. She is a consultant with LMI in McLean, Va.

Mr. Palmer graduated from James Madison University and from Clemson University with a master’s in higher education administration. He is chief operating officer with B3 Group Inc. in Falls Church.

The couple honeymooned in Playa Mujeres, Mexico. They live in Falls Church.
