Freezing and canning workshop planned

A Freezing and Canning Workshop for preserving fruits and vegetables at home will be presented by Ohio State University Extension Mahoning County for those with all levels of experience.

It will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. Aug. 20 at McMahon Hall, Mill Creek MetroParks Farm, 7574 Columbiana-Canfield Road. The cost per person is $10. Make reservations by calling 330-533-5538.
