Farm vegetables cooking lesson

The Niles SCOPE Senior Center, 14 E. State St., across from Niles Police and Fire Department, will offer a Lunch ’n’ Learn Program Thursday.

The topic will be “Selecting and Preparing Farm Market Vegetables.” Garvin McCorkle, Family Nutrition Program, Ohio State University Extension, Trumbull County, will facilitate the program and do a cooking demonstration.

Members and nonmembers are welcome. There is no cost for the program, however, a free will offering will be accepted for lunch.
