Covelli to host YOUNG ’12 expo

The Youngstown/ Warren Regional Chamber’s Youngstown Ohio Utica & Natural Gas (YOUNG) 2012 Conference and Expo will feature speakers from several large companies in the oil and gas industry.

The main conference and expo will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 6 inside and outside the Covelli Centre. The conference’s second day will be from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the Holiday Inn in Boardman.

Featured speakers at the main event will include keynoter Harry Schurr, general manager of CONSOL Energy’s Utica Operations and Hess J.V.; David Mustine, managing director for Energy, Chemicals & Polymers for JobsOhio; John Bonn, president, NiSource Midstream Services; Scott Hallam, manager of development and operations, Access Midstream (formerly Chesapeake Midstream); and Sean Clawges, director of Global Manufacturing, Exterran Energy Corp., which is building a new plant in Youngstown to serve the shale industry.

Joel Mastervich, president and chief operating officer of V&M Star, Youngstown, is expected to give a forward-looking discussion of plant capabilities as a global solution center.

Cost of attending the main exhibition Sept. 6 is $75 if registered by Aug. 15 and $100 thereafter.

The Friday session is an additional $50 and is open only to those registered for the main exhibition Sept. 6.
