Boardman teen rolls second perfect game

Neighbors | Submitted.16-year-old Jonathon Tiberio, a member of the Boardman High School Varsity Boys Bowling Team, bowled his second perfect game at a tournament on July 11 at Boardman Lanes.

Johnathon Tiberio, 16, bowled his second perfect “300” game on July 11 while competing in the junior/adult bowling league at Boardman Lanes. This game was part of a 765-300 game series set.

This was his second perfect game, having rolled a 300 when he was only 14 during a tournament in Mercer, Pa.

Tiberio is a junior at Boardman High School and has been a member of the varsity boys bowling team for the past two years. Tiberio showed promise even as a freshman. By the end of that year, he was on the All-Federal League’s second team.

Currently, Tiberio has a 220 bowling average. He has been bowling since he was 4.
