Proceeds benefit children’s program

The Organizacion Civica y Cultural Hispana Americana is having its first International Latino Food Fest fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Aug. 10 at OCCHA, 3660 Shirley Road. Proceeds will benefit the organization’s programs for children.

Nations represented include Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Peru, Puerto Rico, Spain and Venezuela. A variety of Latino foods, soft drinks and beer will be sold. The menu will be a la carte with prices ranging from $1 to $5.

Activities include face painting, raffles and entertainment with cultural dances throughout the day. For information call 330-781-1808.
