Bug Day, Family Garden Day Sunday at MetroParks Farm

Mill Creek MetroParks will host two free educational programs Sunday.

Bug Day will take place at the MetroParks Farm in Canfield from noon until 4 p.m.

The event is devoted to learning about insects and their relatives.

Children will play games such as Bug Bingo, hunt for bugs, race bugs, view bugs through microscopes, learn about bees and earn a “Master of Bugology” degree.

Family Garden Day will take place at Fellows Riverside Gardens from 1 to 4 p.m.

Children and their families can spend the afternoon enjoying plants, crafts, storytelling and a snack in the Family Garden.

Visitors can view the butterfly garden as well as other displays.
