UPDATE: McDonald boil alert may be lifted later today

MCDONALD — The water boil alert for the area north of East Fifth Street to Second Street and east of Ohio Avenue to McKinley Boulevard may be lifted later today, village officials said in a news release.

Officials said water sample results should be back later today and the alert possibly could be lifted. The alert was for an emergency hydrant repair.
