Parents reveal Blakeman and Hether plans

The engagement and upcoming marriage of Michelle Blakeman and Jeff Hether, both of Girard, are being announced by their parents, Carol and Jimmy King of Girard, and Sherry and John Hether of West Middlesex, Pa.

The bride-to-be attended Youngstown State University and Raphael’s School of Beauty. She is co-owner of CheerTime Athletics in Girard and Warren.

The future groom attended Clarion University and earned a degree in biology at Pennsylvania State University. He is employed by UPMC Centers for Rehab Services in Beaver Falls, Pa.

The couple will be married during an open ceremony at 2 p.m. Sept. 8 at Julia’s Bed and Breakfast in Hubbard.

Invitations will be issued for an evening reception at Mahoning Country Club in Girard.
