Parents announce Whitehouse and Markota plans

The engagement and forthcoming marriage of Carissa Leigh Whitehouse of Poland and Joshua David Markota of Canfield are being announced by their parents.

They are Scott and Carrie Whitehouse of Poland and David and Marianne Markota of Canfield.

The couple will be married during an open-church ceremony at 3 p.m. Sept. 1 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Austintown. Invitations will be issued for an evening reception at A La Cart Catering in Canfield.

Miss Whitehouse graduated from Choffin Career and Technical Center in accredited dental assisting. She is a certified dental assistant at One Health Ohio in Warren.

Mr. Markota is the owner of Coney Island Hot Dog Shoppe in Austintown.
