July was hot in the Mahoning Valley, but not that hot

While it was unbearably hot at times, last month was warmer than normal for July, but not enough to be among the 10 hottest for that month in the Mahoning Valley.

The high temperature reached at least 90 degrees nine days last month, about four or five more days than usual for July. The high for the month was 98 degrees on July 7.
