Vision for Veterans race planned May 18

COLUMBIANA

A 5K race to benefit veterans is scheduled for May 18 in Firestone Park. This is the fifth year for the Vision for Veterans 5K, organized by Siembida & Boggs Philanthropic Foundation.

Race-day registration will begin at 4:30 p.m. at Pavilion 4 in the park. The Toddler Trot for ages 4 and under begins at 5:45 p.m., and the Kids’ Fun Run for ages 5 to 9 follows at 6 p.m. The 5K run/walk is open to all ages and starts at 6:45 p.m.

Registration is $12 for the 5K and can be done at www.active.com or by printing a form from the race website, www.visionforveterans.org. For information call 330-482-9105.
