Theater to present a ‘Tuna’ sequel

Trumbull New Theatre will close its season with the comedy “Red, White and Tuna,” which opens Friday.

Part of the “Greater Tuna” series, the play is about two characters who return to their eccentric hometown for a Fourth of July reunion.

Aaron Fall and Tim Phillips each play several characters in TNT’s production, which is directed by Patricia Latham.

Show times are 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, May 11-12 and 18-19; and 3 p.m. May 20.

The theater is at 5883 Youngstown-Warren Road.

Christian band concert at campus

Sharon, Pa.

The Andy Needham Band will give a free concert at 7 p.m. May 12 in the Penn State Shenango auditorium.

The modern worship band plays at colleges, churches, camps and musical festivals including Creation and Soulfest.
