Band sponsors will host golf fundraiser

Deer Creek Golf Course, 7691 E. Liberty St., will be the site of a benefit golf outing organized by the Hubbard School Band Sponsors. The event will take place rain or shine May 12.

Space is limited to 120 golfers, and the $65 entry fee includes greens fees, cart, hot dog at the turn and a catered dinner (BYOB). Registration begins at 12:30 p.m., and the shotgun start is at 2. Dinner, a 50-50 drawing, a basket raffle and awards take place at 7.

The format is a scramble with 3-person teams. Low net awards are $600 for first place, $300 for second and $200 for third. There will be a $10K hole-in-one prize sponsored by Group Tours, Inc.
