Sarah Marie Liston and Jason Richard Mitchell were married in a noon ceremony Sept. 17, 2011, in the Church of the Resurrection.
The Rev. J. Mark Hobson officiated at the Mass and the exchange of vows for the couple.
After the ceremony an afternoon reception took place at Punderson Manor Lodge in Newbury, Ohio.
The bride is the daughter of Gerald Liston of Solon, and parents of the groom are Richard and Karen Mitchell of East Palestine.
The bride wore a strapless A-line gown styled with a dipped neckline and corset closure and embellished with corded lace.
Katie Barker attended the bride as maid of honor in a navy-blue floor-length dress. Bridesmaids, in assorted navy dresses, were Lindsay Czopur, the groom’s sister; Anne Liston and Jennifer Rubin, both sisters of the bride; and Julia Rubin, the bride’s niece.
Stavros “Steve” Dukas performed the duties of best man. Groomsmen were Joseph Liston and Thomas Liston, brothers of the bride; Chris Kimmel and Abe Tuttle. Lucas Archibald, the groom’s cousin, served as ring bearer.
Mrs. Mitchell graduated from Sweet Briar College with a bachelor’s degree in history. She is a project coordinator at Sarcom in Lewis Center, Ohio.
Mr. Mitchell holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology, and a Professional Engineering license. He is an electrical engineer with Dynamix Engineering in Columbus.
After a wedding trip to Maine, the couple are making their home in New Albany, Ohio.
