Natalie Herter, Brandon Spickler to marry in July

FENTON, MICH.

Carl and Jeanette Herter of Fenton, Mich., are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Natalie Herter, of Grosse Pointe Park, Mich., and Brandon Spickler of Oxford, Ohio. He is the son of James Spickler and Leeayne Spickler, both of Boardman.

The couple will be united in marriage in a late afternoon ceremony July 13 at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Plymouth, Mich. Invitations will be extended for both the ceremony and a reception afterward at the Meeting House Grand Ballroom in Plymouth.

The bride-elect earned a bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Grand Valley State University and a master’s degree in kinesiology from Michigan State University. She is employed as an athletic trainer for Wayne State University in Detroit.

The prospective groom earned a bachelor’s degree in science and education from Ohio State University and a master’s degree in nutrition from Kent State University. He is employed as a strength and conditioning coach at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
