Kids day planned

Kids day planned

Boardman

From 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, the Davis YMCA, 45 McClurg Road, will present its youth initiative to kick-start physical activity and summer learning, Healthy Kids Day.

Y’s across the country have the day as a part of their commitment to strengthening communities through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.

This year’s local event is sponsored by Yerian Insurance and nationally sponsored by Dodge. Dodge will be on site with a “Ride and Drive” event giving attendees the opportunity to test-drive new Dodge vehicles.

Healthy Kids Day activities include a mini swim meet, kayaking, bounce-around, scholastic book fair, nutrition presentations and camp expos.
