The family of Gerald George Klusch has announced a reward of up to $20,000 for reliable new information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the individual or individuals responsible for his death.

A news conference will take place Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Columbiana County Sheriff’s office, 8473 County Home Road. The Klusch family and members of law enforcement will be on hand to answer questions.

Klusch, 71, of 37348 U.S. Route 30 disappeared on or about Sept. 29, 2011. Klusch’s body was recovered Nov. 18 near Salineville. Anyone with knowledge related to Klusch’s death is asked to contact Lt. Detective Andy Sweeney of the Detective Bureau of Columbiana County Sheriff’s Department by calling 330-424-7255 or in person.

“We’re hopeful that the reward and news conference will bring forward new information that leads to an arrest and conviction of the person responsible for my husband’s death,” said Leah Klusch, wife of Gerald Klusch.

Information must be provided on or before Sept. 1. The amount of the reward will be determined at the discretion of the Gerald George Klusch Reward Review Committee. The Klusch family also has created a website, www.findjerry.net, to provide updates on the investigation and photographs of Klusch.
