ASSOCIATIONS

Mill Creek Chapter of American Business Women’s Association will meet May 8 at the Stonebridge Grille & Tavern, 1497 Boardman-Canfield Road in Boardman. Networking will start at 6 p.m., and dinner will follow. The dinner will cost $16.50 and includes chicken Francaise, potato, vegetables and dessert. The meeting agenda includes voting for new officers and reports on the basket auction fundraiser. Girard Band Boosters will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the high school cafeteria.

CLASSES

Campbell Memorial High School January and June Classes of 1950 will meet at noon Wednesday at Bedford Trails.

Chaney High School January and June Classes of 1942 will meet at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Denny’s in Austintown. All classmates and friends are welcome. No reservations are required.

Wilson High School Class of 1951 will meet for breakfast at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Landmark Restaurant, 7424 Market St., Boardman. Classmates and guests are invited.

CLUBS

Chapter CE of the PEO Sisterhood will gather at noon Wednesday at A La Cart, Canfield, for a luncheon and meeting. The business meeting for committees will be a workshop/planning. Hostesses are Marilyn Samuels and Johanna Nuzzo.

Warren Women’s Connection is planning a “Tea Party” luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. May 14 at DiLucia’s Banquet Room, 2610 Elm Road NE, Warren. Free nursery is available by reservation. Linda Harrah will discuss tips on having great tea parties and will share information about a book that gave her new perspective. Danielle Kiraly will provide music. Youngstown Fraternal Order of Eagles Club, Aerie 213, will have an aerie officer election for one-year trustee from noon to 7 p.m. Thursday at the aerie home, 451 Miller St. Members must have a valid membership card and paid-up dues to vote.

Youngstown South Christian Women’s Connection is taking reservations for a “Bright and Beautiful” luncheon. The event will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. May 9 at Avion on the Water Banquet Center, 2177 W. Western Reserve Road, Canfield. The reservation deadline is Wednesday. The program will feature entertainment by Billie Cash, author, speaker and musician from Collierville, Tenn., and a fashion show. Alzheimer’s Association has scheduled the following Caregiver Support Group meetings on the following dates: 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Senior Center of Mahoning County, 1110 Fifth Ave., Youngstown; 2 p.m. May 21 at Antonine Sisters Adult Day Center, 2691 N. Lipkey Road, North Jackson; 1:30 p.m. May 24 at the Alzheimer’s Association, Building B, Suite 301, 3695 Boardman-Canfield Road, Canfield; and 7 p.m. May 24 at the Common Ground Church Community, 2310 W. South Range Road, North Lima.

Nar-Anon, a 12-step program for relatives and friends who have been adversely affected by a loved one’s addiction to drugs, meets at 7 p.m. Fridays at the Neil Kennedy Recovery Clinic, 160 Clifton NE, Howland; newcomers are welcome at 6:45. For information call 330-856-3822.

Nar-Anon Family Group, which helps those who are adversely affected by a relative or friend who is an addict, will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Neil Kennedy Recovery Clinic, 5211 Mahoning Ave., Suite 3000, Austintown.
