Church will host Polish cookie baking class

As part of its Polska Kuchnia series, Polish Youngstown will teach the art of baking chrusciki (angel wings) on May 5. Marta Mazur, “Simply Slavic” baking contest winner, will teach two sessions, noon and 2 p.m., at Sts. Peter & Paul Church, 421 Covington St. The cost is $25, and preregistration is required; call 330-726-9992. Take an apron and a storage container.
