GIRARD

Sophomore Neco Maderitz (12-4) pitched a no-hitter with nine strikeouts and three walks. Maderitz had a double and a single, Bryanna Jay had a double and two singles for three RBIs, Nichol Mazzella had a bases-loaded single for three RBIs and Morgan Walters and Kylie Kulon both had two singles for Girard (15-5).

Ursuline 8, Struthers 4

STRUTHERS

Marina Bermann had three hits, including a home run and four RBIs to lead Ursuline (9-9). Erin Vukovich and McKenzie Stimpert combined for a three-hitter.

Louisville 14, Canfield 11

CANFIELD

Kate Cozy doubled twice and scored three runs to lead Louisville (17-3), which scored three runs in the top of the eighth to win. For Canfield (13-3), Rachel Vrabel homered, doubled twice, drove in four runs and scored twice, Abby Baker doubled and homered, scoring twice to go with four RBIs and Rachel Tinkey had two hits and two runs.

Fitch 11, Beaver Local 1

AUSTINTOWN

Cali Mickovich went 4-for-4 with six stolen bases and four runs to lead Fitch (7-10). Alex Corradi doubled to go with two singles and Mercedes Pratt and Alana Callahan each had two hits. Kim Rotellini doubled, singled and drove in a run for Beaver Local.

Lakeview 2, LaBrae 1

CORTLAND

Alexis Neumeister (8-1) struck out five and walked three to get the win for the the Bulldogs (13-3, 6-2 AAC National). Alyssa Nicholas singled and homered and Caitlin McDivitt also had two hits in the win. For LaBrae (6-12, 2-6), Jessica Buck had three hits, including a triple, and Taylor Smith singled and tripled.

Columbiana 7, United 1

COLUMBIANA

Junior Dakota DeAmicis had nine strikeouts and one walk in a five-hitter for Columbiana (14-3, 6-3 ITCL), which scored all of its runs in the sixth inning. Junior Khylea Fullum had two triples, while sophomore Sierra Ross had a double and single. Ross’ one-out double gave the Clippers a 2-1 lead prior to Fullum’s bases-loaded triple. Cassidy Yoder had a double for United.

Jackson-Milton 13, Wellsville 0

NORTH JACKSON

Caitlin Carney belted two home runs and collected three RBIs for Jackson-Milton (18-1, 11-0 ITCL Tier Two). Katie Santor had a double, while Madison Tomaino and Paije Kiraly added two hits apiece. Kiraly struck out 11 batters and allowed just two hits picking up her 17th win.

Lordstown 17, Grand Valley 6

ORWELL

Kansas Lickwar knocked a double and triple to finish with four RBIs for Lordstown (10-7, 9-4 NAC). Ally Hajnosz collected three hits, Melody Taylor had two hits and Hailey Toporcer picked up her 10th win on the mound, striking out five batters. Miranda Ritter led Grand Valley with a pair of doubles and three RBIs.

Mathews 6, Maplewood 0

VIENNA

Cheyenne Eggens pitched a no-hitter with 16 strikeouts and no walks, coming within one error of a perfect game. Eggens also had a fifth-inning grand slam. Tabby Granelly and Maddi Grimes each had two hits for the Mustangs (16-4, 13-1 NAC).

Girard 17, Niles 3 (5 inn.)

NILES

Sophomore Neco Maderitz struck out 14 and walked four in a three-hitter for the Indians. Morgan Walters had a grand slam, a triple and a double for six RBIs, Nichol Mazzella had a home run and two singles and four RBIs and senior Bryanna Jay had three singles and two RBIs for Girard. Callen, Rose and Hughes had a hit apiece for Niles.
