Huntington Bank opens branches in 8 Mahoning Valley Giant Eagle stores

Huntington Bank has opened eight new branches inside of Mahoning Valley Giant Eagle stores.

Three branches are in stores at 2061 Elm Road, Warren; 2700 Mahoning Ave. NW, Warren; and 8202 E. Market St., Howland.

The others are 48 Vienna Ave., Niles; 4700 Belmont Ave., Liberty; 525 E. Main St., Canfield; 3130 Center Road, Poland; and 1201 Doral Drive, Boardman.

Huntington signed a 15-year agreement with Giant Eagle during fall 2010 to install full-service branches in at least 16 Giant Eagles in Ohio and West Virginia.

“We look forward to improving the overall shopping experience for Giant Eagle customers with the added convenience of seven day-a-week, in-store banking, and also to growing our network of in-store branches in the Youngstown area,” said Frank Hierro, Huntington regional president of the Mahoning Valley area.

These are the first in-store bank branch openings in the Youngstown area since May 2011, when two branches opened in the Boardman and Austintown Giant Eagle stores.
