CANFIELD

Derek Turocy (4-0) blanked Boardman through six innings, giving up three hits with four strikeouts to get the win. Joe Tuchek had two hits and an RBI and Anthony Ross doubled for the Cardinals (11-3). Derek Pasquale and Anthony Pacella doubled for the Spartans.

Hubbard 4

STRUTHERS

Nick Buffa had three hits to lead Mooney (8-7). Frank Rondinelli added two and three RBIs, while Kane Durkin had a double and RBI. Brandon Harb collected two hits for Hubbard (2-18).

Beaver Local 8, Fitch 4

AUSTINTOWN

Ryan Smith went 2-for-4 with four RBIs, leading Beaver Local. Kevin Sierra had two hits for Fitch and Anthony Paris added a triple.

Niles 10, Struthers 5

NILES

Noah Arvin led Niles with three hits and two RBIs. Ian Hileman and James Tate also had a pair of RBIs. Trent Collins had six strikeouts for the win. Nick Gigax, Anthony Lariccia and Dylan Duchek all had two hits for Struthers.

Hubbard 3, Girard 1

GIRARD

Robert Vargo tossed a three-hitter with 10 strikeouts and two walks for Hubbard (3-18). He also had two hits and two RBIs. For Girard (15-6), A.J. DeVore had two hits and combined with Nick Cavalier on a four-hitter.

South Range 12, Lisbon 3

BEAVER TWP.

Andy Lacefield and Zach Thorpe each had two hits and a double for South Range (12-7, 9-1 ITCL Tier One). Dan Macinga collected five RBIs, while Mason Miller had three. Tommy Delullo knocked a triple. Drew Sweeney had three hits for Lisbon.

COLUMBIANA

Matt May and Evan Nentwick each had two hits and an RBI, Adam Coppock had an inside-the-park homer and two RBIs and Austin Eskra pitched a two-hitter, striking out six and walking two.

NORTH JACKSON

Chucky Anderson had two doubles, while Ryan Nagy and Brandon Mitchell each had one for the Bluejays (10-11). Zach Nagy earned his fourth win on the mound and had two RBIs. Jackson-Milton scored 12 runs in the third inning.

Bristol 10, Bloomfield 0

BRISTOLVILLE

Zeth Tomasiak threw a no-hitter on the mound for Bristol (7-8). Zach Dibell collected two hits and a pair of RBIs, while Kevin Chirozzi had two RBIs.

Alliance 16, West Branch 1

BELOIT

Sam Cundiff and Tyler Bugara had four hits apiece with one of Bugara’s being a triple. Nathan Rice delivered a five-hitter for the Aviators. Brenden Wells had two hits for West Branch (10-8, 5-4).

Mathews 8, Maplewood 5

VIENNA

Jeremy Forsythe had two hits and three RBIs and Nate Homan had two hits with a run and an RBI to lead Mathews. For Maplewood, Mike Palm had two RBIs.

Brookfield 5, Newton Falls 1

NEWTON FALLS

Brookfield (9-6) scored all five of its runs in the top of the seventh inning, after Newton Falls’ Logan Harrah had a no-hitter going through six. Jimmy Quinlan sparked the rally, with Jeremy Quinlan finishing it with a double.
