Friends of the library plan May festivities

LEETONIA

The Friends of Leetonia Community Public Library, 181 Walnut St., are planning a Spring Tea for children ages 6 and up at 3 p.m. May 5. Linda Steele, doll designer, will be the featured speaker. The program is free but registration is a must at 330-427-6635.

A used book sale also has been planned from noon to 6 p.m. May 11 and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 12 in the building behind the library. Donations for a basket auction on Saturday are being accepted. A community yard sale also will take place those two days. A list of the participating homes in the village will be available at the book sale.
