Library will host food columnist and writer
WARREN
Warren-Trumbull County Public Library, 444 Mahoning Ave. NW, Warren, will host Lisa Abraham, columnist and food writer for the Akron Beacon Journal, at 6:30 p.m. May 3.
Abraham, a native of Niles, is the recipient of numerous writing and reporting awards and has been named Best Food Columnist by the Association of Food Journalists.
She will discuss her book, “Famous Chefs and Fabulous Recipes: Lessons Learned at One of the Oldest Cooking Schools in America.”
The book is a compilation of more than 200 recipes from 60 chefs who have taught at the Western Reserve School of Cooking in Hudson, Ohio.
The program is free and open to the public. Reservations are not required.
