GM and UAW agree to 100 full-time Lordstown workers

General Motors has come to an agreement with UAW Local 1112 to convert 100 temporary workers at the Lordstown plant to full-time.

The change will be made within the next couple of weeks, according UAW 1112.

“This is good news for our entire membership. It means another 100 or so members will have job security and in a few months receive much needed health care benefits for themselves and their families,” according to a news release.
