Boil alert for Vienna

VIENNA

A boil alert has been issued in Vienna Township after crews working on a sewer project at the intersection of Smith-Stewart Road and state Route 193 hit gas and water lines this afternoon.

The boil alert area is from Smith-Stewart south on Route 193 to 4740 Belmont Ave.

During a boil alert, residents should boil tap water used for cooking and drinking for 3 to 5 minutes.
