If it’s springtime, it’s time to air quilts COLUMBIANA

In conjunction with “Springtime in Columbiana,” the Columbiana Area Tourism Board is asking residents to participate in the “Airing of the Quilts” May 4 and 5.

Quilts should be hung from windows or porch railings, where visitors can view them from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. The First Christian Church, 39 Cherry St., will have more than 60 quilts on display and will provide refreshments on both days from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

There will be a quilting demonstration by Meta Culler in the city circle on the weekend. For information call the tourism Office at 330-482-3822.
