High fees will drive students away

High fees will drive students away

I see YSU needs more money, so once again, we the students are going to pay for it. A transportation fee? Really?

I believe they already charge $100 for a parking sticker with no guarantee you’ll be able to park. Now they want those of us who don’t always need a parking sticker, and those that usually only have to pay the $100, to pay $200 a year?

Unbelievable. Personally, I’ve had enough of their tuition hikes and their strikes and threats of strikes.

“We cannot keep you safe if you’re parking across Belmont Avenue,” Anderson told a group of students. So even if you’re not parking across Belmont — or not parking at all — the university still thinks it deserves more of your money.

It’s a rip-off. I already pay a fortune to go to YSU. Enough is enough! Maybe Dr.. Anderson can donate some of her ridiculous salary to the transportation fee. YSU isn’t the only college campus here, and if this happens, I will transfer my credits elsewhere.

Who is making our drugs?

I recently bought medication to reduce stomach acid at a major chain drugstore.

When I got home, I read a slip inside the package that said the medication was manufactured in India. I checked with two other drugstores and theirs were made in Italy and Sweden.

No wonder our people have no jobs.
