Trade show planned
Boardman
The Managed Care Organization Conference and Trade Show, hosted by the Mahoning Valley Safety Council, will be from 7:30 a.m. to noon May 2 at Mr. Anthony’s in Boardman.
All employers in Ohio have the opportunity once every two years, during a one-month period, to choose a different medical-care organization for their workers compensation claims processing. The window opens April 30 and closes May 31.
All MCOs charge the same fee for their services, so cost should not be a factor in the decision. Service is the key, and employers need to know what they should demand with respect to service.
Nearly 20 exhibitors will be on hand. Check-in and breakfast begins at 7:30 a.m. with conference training sessions and trade-show exhibits from 8 a.m. to noon.
Reservations are required. To make a reservation, go to www.regionalchamber.com and click on events calendar. Cost is $35 for chamber members and $45 for nonmembers.
