Jessica Bayer, Joshua Crissman to marry in park

Jessica Bayer and Joshua Crissman, both of Brunswick, Ohio, are engaged and planning to be married, their parents are announcing.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Lorraine M. Lesick of Austintown and Mr. and Mrs. Anthony D. Bayer of Brunswick. Parents of the prospective groom are Mr. and Mrs. William O. Crissman of Toledo.

The couple will be joined in marriage Aug. 3 in a late afternoon ceremony by invitation at St. James Meeting House in Boardman Park. An evening reception, also by invitation, is being planned at The Links at Firestone Farms in Columbiana.

Miss Bayer is a graduate of the University of Akron, where she earned a master’s degree in education. She is an associate director of public programs for Oberlin College in Oberlin, Ohio.

Mr. Crissman is pursuing a degree in finance at Cuyahoga Community College.
