August wedding for Miss Evans, Mr. Van Jura

NEW MIDDLETOWN

Don and Kaira Evans are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Emily Evans, to Drew Van Jura.

Parents of the prospective groom are Darlene Van Jura and John and Patty Van Jura. All are from New Middletown.

The couple have chosen First Covenant Church in Bessemer, Pa., as the site for their open afternoon ceremony August 4.

An evening reception by invitation is being planned at Antone’s Banquet Centre in Boardman.

Miss Evans is a graduate of Youngstown State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise science. She is the wellness director at Salem Community Center in Salem.

Mr. Van Jura holds a bachelor’s degree in sports management from Columbia Southern University. He is employed in electric and wiring for Control System Manufacturing in New Middletown.
