Mahoning track-field championship set for Saturday

The Mahoning County Educational Service Center is sponsoring the 99th Annual Mahoning County Track and Field Championship on Saturday at Austintown Fitch Falcon Stadium.

The meet begins at 9 a.m. with field events. Running events will begin at 10 a.m. Fifteen county high schools are set to compete at the track and field meet for Division I and Division II titles, as well as individual event awards.

Division I schools participating in the meet are Boardman, Canfield, Fitch, Poland, East, West Branch, Cardinal Mooney and Struthers. Division II schools entered are Jackson-Milton, Lowellville, South Range, Springfield Local, Western Reserve, Campbell and Ursuline.
