Canfield 6, Alliance 1

CANFIELD

Darby Cockrell had two doubles and Kaci Hyde had two singles and two RBIs to lead Canfield, which scored three runs in the second and sixth innings. Sarah Vrabel tossed a four-hitter with nine strikeouts and one walk. Marissa Bondoni had two hits and scored Alliance’s run.

Springfield 5, Lisbon 3

NEW MIDDLETOWN

Mac Colwell’s two-run homer was the big hit in a four-run second inning for Springfield (5-7, 4-4 Inter Tri-County League Tier One). Also for the Tigers, Nicole Siciliano had a triple and single while Cami Jackson doubled for Lisbon.

Columbiana 20, Salem 6

SALEM

Paige Macklin had a double and two singles while Katie Libb and Marissa St. George each had three singles to lead Columbiana, which took a 6-0 lead after one inning. For Salem, Katie McDevitt and Tyler Schrader each had two singles.

Mineral Ridge 4, South Range 1

BEAVER TWP.

Senior Caitlin Smith had two strikeouts and two walks in a four-hitter for Mineral Ridge (10-5, 4-3 ITCL Tier One). Senior Meghan Garland had a two-run double while sophomore McKenzie Garland, senior Caitlin Smith and senior Miranda Stith had a single apiece for the winners. Darrian Yanek homered and Morgan Renforth tripled for South Range (6-5, 4-2).

Southington 13, McDonald 5

McDONALD

Rebecca Wolke went 3-for-5 with a homer and Chelsea Davis added three hits for Southington, which drew 10 walks. Jenna Golden had two hits for McDonald, while Leigh Gatta and Jessica Montella each doubled.

Bristol 12, Lordstown 7

LORDSTOWN

Amanda McClellan had two hits, including a double, Megan Adams had two hits and Kylie Stoneman homered for Bristol (10-3, 6-3 Northeastern Athletic Conference), which rallied from a 6-0 deficit. Katie Patchin gave up one run over the final six innings to get the win, striking out six without a walk. Brandy Pursell and Marina Patitucci each had two hits for Lordstown (7-7, 6-4), while Ally Hajnosz homered.
