Resurfacing work to begin next week in Columbiana County

Resurfacing work begins Monday for more than two miles of state Route 45 about a mile south of state Route 558 just south of County Road through the village of Teegarden in Salem Township in Columbiana County.

The contractor for the $1.2 million project through the Ohio Department of Transportation is Superior Paving & Materials Inc. from North Canton. The completion date is July 31.

Also, work begins Monday to resurface about seven miles of state Route 172 from state Route 9 to U.S. Route 30 in Hanover Township.

ODOT's contractor for this $1.4 million project is Central-Allied Enterprises Inc. from Canton. The completion date is June 30. Flaggers will maintain traffic at all routes.
