Police are investigating the shooting of a 15-year-old male from Youngstown.

Reports state the teen was shot in his upper right chest near his shoulder, and in his upper right arm. The shooting occurred about 3:15 p.m. Monday in the 100 block of Park Heights on the city’s East Side, officers said.

The teen told police he was with a friend and a male 17-year-old from Campbell, and began to argue with the Campbell teen who subsequently shot him, according to records.

The Youngstown teen ran through backyards to get to his father’s house and was stabilized by medics who took him to St. Elizabeth Health Center. No arrests had been made as of Monday night.
