Brandy Kelly to be June bride of Virgil Gilea

Brandy Leigh Kelly and Virgil Ciprian Gilea, both of Canfield, are engaged and planning a June wedding, her parents are announcing.

The bride-elect is the daughter of William and Barbara Kelly of Boardman, and the prospective groom is the son of Virgil and Minerva Gilea, also of Boardman.

The couple are planning a marriage ceremony for June 23 at St. Paul the Apostle Church in New Middletown. A reception will follow at Mr. Anthony’s Banquet Center in Boardman. Invitations will be extended for both occasions.

Miss Kelly earned a Ph.D. in counselor education and supervision from Kent State University. She is a clinical director at Turning Point Counseling Services in Youngstown.

Her fiancé earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Youngstown State University. He works as an electrical engineer for Energy Developments in Lowellville.
