CARD, BINGO PARTIES

American Legion Auxiliary Unit 301, 3652 Oakwood Ave., Austintown, will host a bingo and card party from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday. There will be a light lunch, table and door prizes, and a 50-50 raffle. Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church Altar and Rosary Society will have its annual bingo and card party at 6 p.m. Sunday in the church hall, 618 Ohio Ave., McDonald. The donation is $5. There will be a 50-50 raffle, basket raffle, money raffle and door prizes. A brown-bag meal of a sandwich, chips and a cupcake will be provided. Refreshments also are available.

St. Nicholas Church, 764 Fifth St., Struthers, will have a card and bingo party at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the parish center. There will be a basket auction, split the pot and a lottery raffle. A light lunch will be served. Admission is $5. Doors will open at 5 p.m.

Trumbull County Federated Democratic Women’s Club will host its annual card party from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday in the parish hall at Christ Episcopal Church, 2627 Atlantic St. NE, Warren. FESTIVALS/FAIRS

Clarks Mills United Methodist Church, 3813 Hadley Road, Clarks Mills, Pa., will host a vendor fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Vendors include Avon, Scentsy, Premier Designs, Miche, Tastefully Simple and Pampered Chef. A concession stand will be open. Proceeds benefit a trip to Redbird Mission in Kentucky.

SALES

Braceville United Methodist Church, 589 Park Road, will have a rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. to noon Friday. There will be a bake sale and a light lunch at noon Thursday, and Friday will be dollar day.

Covenant Life Fellowship Church, 5900 W. Liberty St., Hubbard, is having a rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. There will be household items, small appliances, clothing, toys and more.

Trumbull County Travel Club will sponsor a wine and dine bus excursion Saturday. The bus will depart from the Niles Kmart at 9:45 a.m. Activities will include lunch and a wine taste at Luva Bella Winery in Lowellville; cheese and crackers and a wine sampling at Mastropietro Winery in Berlin Center; shopping and a wine taste at Maize Winery in Hartville; and dessert wines and chocolate at Viking Winery in Kent. Dinner (included) will be at Akron’s Spaghetti House with a glass of wine for all.
