YSU jazz combos in free concert

YOUNGSTOWN

The Dana School of Music jazz studies program will present a free concert of jazz combos, led by Dave Kana, Jeff Bush and Ken Karsh, at 8 p.m. Wednesday in Kilcawley Center on the campus of Youngstown State University. The concert will feature original compositions by students. For information, call 330-941-3636.

‘Beauty and Beast’ at West Branch

BELOIT

West Branch High School theater will present “Beauty and the Beast” at 7:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday; 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Saturday; 3 p.m. Sunday; and 7:30 p.m. April 23. Tickets are $10 ($8 for students).

A dinner-theater production will be at 5:30 p.m. Friday. Tickets are $25 ($20 for students) and include the show.

“An Enchanted Lunch with Belle” will be offered for children and adults before the Saturday matinee. Tickets are $15 and include the show.Call the box office at 330-938-4442.

Musical at school

SALEM

The theater department at Salem High School, 1200 E. Sixth St., will present the musical “Singing In The Rain” Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The play features video clips, shot in black and white, complete with subtitles, as though they were done in the 1920s.

Tickets are $10 ($7 for students and seniors).
