Kalenits family honors couple for 60th anniversary

YOUNGSTOWN

The family of Frank and Ann Kalenits of Youngstown honored them April 5 at a family dinner in celebration of their 60th wedding anniversary at Cafe 422 in Niles.

Invitations were extended for the 7 p.m. event.

The couple’s children are Christine Kennedy of Tulsa, Okla., who hosted the dinner; Judy (Bruce) MacGregor of Mineral Ridge; Mary Jo Mshar of Youngstown; Elizabeth (Clint) Hood of Niles; and Frank (Lorena) Kalenits of Las Vegas.

Thirteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren round out the family.

Mrs. Kalenits, the former Ann Lawrence, worked for General Electric, Gran Lanes, Golden Crust Bakery, Donut Oven and various other places. She retired in 2002.

Mr. Kalenits worked for General Motors in Lordstown in the maintenance department. He retired in March 1994.

He served in both the U.S. Army and Air Force.

The Kalenitses were married April 19, 1952, at St. Brendan Church.
