Junior Nico DiIanni for went 3-for-4 with a stolen base and run scored and Nate Knaus had two singles, two RBIs and a stolen base for Boardman (7-2, 3-0 Federal). Also for the Spartans, sophomore Phil DiIanni had an RBI double. Senior Danny Watkins (1-0) struck out six and gave up four hits over the first five innings before Nate Knaus, a senior, relieved and gave up two hits. Collier had a double and single for GlenOak.
Crestview 17, Wellsville 2
COLUMBIANA
Crestview (5-4) scored nine runs in the first inning and Austin Oates had three hits and two RBIs. Anthony Marnejon, Austin Eskra and Matt May all added doubles for the Rebels. Eskra also had two singles and two RBIs, and Marnejon drove in two runs. Derek Bable struck out six in three innings.
Hubbard 4, Salem 3
HUBBARD
Jordan Thomson’s suicide squeeze bunt scored Anthony Rosswith one out to win the game. Thomson, the starter, had three strikeouts and gave up three hits before Ryan Smith (2-2) pitched two hitless innings for the win for Hubbard (2-12). Zach Hover had a double for the Eagles. Keaton O’Brien had two hits for Salem (1-10).
Girard 9, Liberty 6
LIBERTY
Girard’s 1-0 lead after the top of the first didn’t last as Liberty quickly shot in front until the Indians (10-4, 3-1 AAC) scored five runs in the seventh to pull out the win. Winning pitcher Nick Krajcirik, a junior, had two doubles and two singles, while A.J. DeVore had two singles for Girard, which got a hit from Tyller Shonce to push across the tying run in the seventh before Jim Standohar’s bases-loaded hit knocked in the go-ahead and insurance runs. Mark Seals had three hits including a double, Lou Rivera had two doubles and Jared Wiesen had a double for Liberty (6-5, 3-2 AAC).
Mineral Ridge 10, Champion 4
MINERAL RIDGE
Mineral Ridge snapped a 3-3 game with four more runs in the third and fourth innings to prevail. John Thomas and Mike White and Brandon Bukofchan all had a double for the Rams (6-6). Rob Douglas had two doubles and Rocco Sandrella had one double for Champion (0-6).

Joe Ohlin and Cody Pitzo each had a double for Springfield. Nick Russell struck out four and allowed just three hits in the complete game shutout.
McDonald 4, Brookfield 3
MCDONALD
Austin Bucan and Travis Walp each picked up two RBIs for McDonald (8-2). Jeremy Quinlan had two hits for Brookfield (5-5). The Blue Devils completed the come from behind victory with a pair of runs in the bottom of the seventh inning.

Tyler Wiery had three hits, including a double, and was the winning pitcher in relief for Niles (11-4). He allowed one unearned run in four innings. James Tate and Noah Arvin each had two hits (both had a double and single) and three RBIs for the Red Dragon.

Atlantic City scored three times in the second inning. Pat Barrett and James Tate each had two hits for Niles. One of Barrett’s hits was a triple. Trent Collins struck out four in a complete-game effort for the Red Dragons.
