Youngstown mayor to open 3rd Big Tap In next week

YOUNGSTOWN

The third annual Big Tap In on April 21 at the Covelli Centre has sold out, organizers say.

Mayor Chuck Sammarone will be tapping the ceremonial keg of Big Tap In Beer to begin the general session.

The VIP Session is from 1 to 6 p.m. and the general Session is from 3 to 6 p.m.

“We are excited to have the city’s mayor open the Big Tap In ceremonies.” said Sandy Reda, Big Tap In organizer. “We expect over 2,000 attendees to be visiting Youngstown for the Big Tap In, and they will be traveling from all across the country.”

This year’s craft beer- and cider-tasting event will feature entertainment, more than 20 local food vendors and 17 local artists.
