Campbell man charged with domestic violence

A Madison Street man faces domestic violence and resisting arrest charges, accused of threatening his wife and running from police.

Daron Little, 45, was being held without bond in the city jail pending his court appearance this morning.

Police were called to Little’s home about 10:15 p.m. Wednesday where Little’s wife told them that he had threatened to harm her and had ripped a telephone from the wall.

When police told Little he was being arrested, he ran out of the house and onto Murray Avenue with police officers following him, yelling for him to stop.

They caught him on Murray. One officer twisted his ankle during the pursuit.
