Public invited to open house to support Harding robotics team


WARREN

The Warren G. Harding FIRST Robotics Team, Delphi ELITE, Team 48, will have an open house from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday in the small gym at Warren G. Harding High School to talk about the successful season the team has had.

Team 48 travels to St. Louis April 25-28 for the World Championship. Students and mentors from Team 48 will answer questions and demonstrate this year’s robot and game.

Officials from Warren City Schools and Delphi will attend to show their support.

The event is open to the public.

The team finished first in events held in Pittsburgh and Wisconsin and second in Cincinnati. Team 48 also has earned team awards such as the Pittsburgh Regional Chairman’s Award, the highest honor in FIRST Robotics.
