Family Service agency takes hunger challenge

Protestant Family Service is joining Rhode Island philanthropist Shawn Feinstein in his annual $1 million giveaway to fight hunger. For the 15th consecutive year the Feinstein Foundation will divide $1 million dollars among hunger-fighting agencies nationwide, using the challenge to help them raise funds during March and April.

Donations or pledges made to Protestant Family Service, 496 Glenwood Ave., Suite 115, Youngstown, OH 44502, received through April 30, will be counted toward the challenge. Donations or pledges can be monetary or food items (valued at $1 per item or pound). For details call 330-746-4600.
